Epinions Like the idea of an SUV, hate the gas mileage? Try the 2007 Ford Freestyle

by  dramastef,  Dec 4, 2006
Pros: Big enough for our needs, good on gas, fun options, great drive!
Cons: None, except the payment that came along with it
The Bottom Line: I would buy this vehicle again tomorrow and recommend it with no qualms.
Review: For two years, Z and I did our environmental duty. We carpooled in our very gas efficient H onda Civic. A few months ago, Z took a new job that made it impossible for us to continue carpooling to work. Since the only ...

Epinions It meets all of my family's needs!

by  jasperboy,  May 18, 2007
Pros: Luxury car like ride and features, SUV looks, mini van room.
Cons: Some say it is a little underpowered, front foot area could be larger.
The Bottom Line: Would buy the Freestyle all over again! Can't wait to see the 2008 Taurus X, but afraid the $ might be over $35K fully loaded.

Cons: I at first didn't like CVT but it grew on me.

Epinions Regret buying a Ford!

by  rrscott211,  Apr 19, 2008
Pros: Fuel efficiency, 2nd row console option.
Cons: A/C, overall quality of vehicle, warranty, dealership service, safety - gas tank, etc.
The Bottom Line: Highly recommended to anyone: don't purchase this vehicle. Test drive a couple times, test overnight if possible. Check the front of the gas tank for shielding. Buyer Beware!
Review: As a family of five (2 adults, 2 teenage sons, and a pre-teen son), we traded in our Dodge Durango for a more fuel efficient crossover. This brand and model was purchased based on being American, price point, fuel efficiency, safety claims, and 3rd row ...
