Epinions A great value if you don't have to pay full retail price.

by  portert0224,  Oct 9, 2004
Pros: Power, gas mileage, cruising comfort, climate control, interior space, easy in&out seats.
Cons: Very stiff ride, interior uses too much cheap plastic, uncomfortable rear seating.
Review: We purchased a 2003 GM program Express 15 passenger van with 12k miles on it for $14,600. The MSRP was $33k. At $14,600, this van is an exceptional deal. If I had paid anything over $18k for this van, I would have been extremely disappointed at the ...

Epinions It drives like a dream

by  mommycatb,  Sep 6, 2003
Pros: Smooth as silk, tons of space, quiet ride
Cons: Gas usage, big blind spots
The Bottom Line: If you are buying a big passenger van, definitely give this one serious consideration. Side by side comparisons led us right to the Chevy Express
Review: After having our sixth child last year, we realized our beloved minivan was just not going to cut it any longer. We shopped around for months testing the Ford, Dodge, and Chevy passenger vans. For several reasons, we ended up opting for the 2003 Chevy ...

Epinions 2003 Express Van Really Improved

by  jlschmitz,  Jun 18, 2003
Pros: Smooth ride, plenty of room, quiet for a van.
Cons: Front doors don't open wide enough, no assist handle on the passenger side.
The Bottom Line: If you have never had an Astro you would probably not miss some of the features and will be thoroughly pleased with the new Chevrolet Express Van.
Review: Our local Chevrolet dealer invited us to take a new 2003 all wheel drive Express Van for the weekend ...

Epinions There's a reason why this one don't outsell the Ford

by  evenrude,  Apr 24, 2004
Pros: low floor. Large cabin and load capacity. Easy seat removal.
Cons: Exterior appearance, interior furnishings, seat upolstery. Tools mounted on load floor with rear seat(s) removed.
The Bottom Line: This van is simply not in the same league with the Ford E-350. If price is your main concern, maybe this is the van for you.
Review: We just replaced our well used '94, 15 pax, E-350 Club Wagon with a '03 Chevy Express 3500. We had plenty of experience with the extended cabin Ford and it served us well in heavy service, hauling both people and heavy parts in it's many years service as ...
