Epinions 2007 Jeep Wrangler (Updated 6-1-08).

by  pearl-drum-man,  Jul 4, 2007
Pros: Bigger, stronger, more capable, more livable every day
Cons: Underpowered in Unlimited, thin sheet metal, poor rear seat access in two door
The Bottom Line: Offers the off-road strength and performance that Jeepers require, with new improvements and options that make it a more accessible vehicle, essential for long term survival.
Review: Overview Jeep engineers set out with a clean sheet of paper to completely redesign the new JK Wrangler. Goals were to meet ever increasing government standards for safety and emissions, make the Jeep more accessible to the mainstream (meaning ...

Epinions Excellent Car

by  westred,  Dec 22, 2007
Pros: Off road handling, 4WD traction
Cons: Storage capacity, gas mileage
The Bottom Line: A car that is fun to drive and capable both on and off road.
Review: Finally bought the wrangler I always wanted and I ended up getting the 2007 model. Some changes from the TJ model that stopped selling in 2006, but just about each one was for the better -- -- The cars interior is a little larger than the older ...

Epinions 2007 Jeep Wrangler

by  stonerowe,  Apr 28, 2008
Pros: Cool, Fun, Great for off-roading
Cons: Cheap plastic, poor fuel efficiency
The Bottom Line: Fun and Cool Car...not made for Business trips requiring lots of driving on the interstate. Keep it to the mountains and beaches.
Review: I LOVE my new Jeep. I would say, I pretty much eat, sleep, live and die for this car. (quoted from my husband Justin). Keep in mind, he has also dreamed about owning this car all his life. Here's what he has to say: Positives: Great offroad ...

Epinions Not an SUV

by  busko,  Apr 27, 2008
Pros: Fun to drive, rugged, dependable, easy to customize…expensive if you get carried away
Cons: Not a lot of power at highway speeds.
The Bottom Line: An excellent vehicle because it's reliable, fun to drive, and is unique.
Review: If you are looking to buy an SUV, then Jeep Wrangler is not for you. Several auto reviews complain about the cheap looking plastic interior or the not so comfortable ride. I find these to be ridicules; a Jeep Wrangler is in a class of its own. You can ...

Epinions 2007 Wrangler Unlimited X

by  exphys,  May 31, 2007
Pros: new style, more room, freedom top, versatility
Cons: n/a
The Bottom Line: classic jeep that is now more practical than ever
Review: I've had my new Unlimited X for about 2 months now and absolutely love it. This is my third jeep, had a 99 Sahara and still have an older 93 Wrangler that spends most of it’s time in the garage now. The ride on the new Jeep is much smoother and ...

Epinions Just bought a second one

by  seidelaw,  May 9, 2007
Pros: It is a real jeep
Cons: It is a real jeep, not for everyone
The Bottom Line: If you have ever owned, loved and used a jeep, get at least one of these.
Review: OK, I have owned more jeeps than anyone here. I used them in the Army also. Every one of them was the real deal. They performed, they lasted, and most important they never failed to put a smile on my face. One saved my wife's life. She managed ...

Epinions Know what you're buying before you bash it

by  speedyspooley,  Apr 29, 2007
Pros: Power. The new 6 cyl is very responsive & has nice pickup.
Cons: Clumsy shifting. Rain water goes into cab when door opens.
Review: I keep wondering why people bash the Wrangler for things like poor gas mileage, road noise & cramped seating. It's a JEEP! What did you think you were getting? If you want fuel efficiency, a quiet ride and spacious seating....get a Honda. The new ...

Epinions Great Vehicle - The Most Fun for the Money - Period

by  ssinghnyc,  Apr 18, 2007
Pros: Convertible, great styling, so much fun with the top down! Great wow factor!
Cons: Poor gas mileage, rough ride and very basic amenities inside.
Review: I bought a 2007 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4 Door in November of 2006. This car is has exceeded all expectations mostly because of the dramatic improvement in both the interior and (arguably) the exterior design for the 4 door. You could read about these ...

Epinions 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited: Why did it take so long? (also H3 comparison)

by  mkaresh, top reviewer in Cars & Motorsports ,  Oct 17, 2006
Pros: Remains a true Jeep, innovative roof, reasonable noise levels, acceptable handling
Cons: Weak engine, overly tall gearing, still handles much worse than the average car
The Bottom Line: Better late than never: Jeep finally offers a four-door Wrangler, and one that is both off-road capable and on-road livable.
Review: Back in 1997, Jeep introduced the Jeep Dakar at the Detroit auto show. The Dakar, a "concept car," was essentially a four-door Wrangler. You can read about it here: http://www.allpar.com/model/je ep/dakar-icon.html I thought it an excellent idea, ...

Epinions The hottest car in town

by  brian185,  May 9, 2007
Pros: It's a Jeep only better
Cons: None (We all know the shortcomings and want it anyway)
The Bottom Line: The ultimate fun vehicle now practical
Review: We have a 2000 Jeep Wrangler that our daughter drives. It has been flawless with the inline 6 and 90,000 miles. We gave it to her after a couple of years because it was too small and not practical. Enter the new 4 door. I was excited about the Toyota ...
