Epinions Once upon a time...

by  mycouponz,  Feb 26, 2006
Pros: Gadgets galore
Cons: Optionals come at a hefty price
The Bottom Line: 4.5/5, rounded up.
Review: Once upon a time I thought the BMW 5-series, Audi A6 and Acura TL&RL were mind-blowing automobiles. No longer. They all have their pluses and minuses, but in comparison to the new M35, they just cannot compete. Or so I thought after a showroom visit ...

Epinions Sporty performance sedan packed with features

by  salingfool,  Dec 22, 2005
Pros: Lots of fun! Powerful/responsive engine, very confortable seats, excellent handling, excellent controls.
Cons: OEM Goodyear RSA tires weak, performance gobbles gas.
The Bottom Line: A driver's car mixing comfort with faultless quality and reliability.
Review: My last car was a 2004 Acura RL. I looked for a new car in August, 2005, a company-paid lease. I've had a variety of European and Asian four door performance sedans over the last 20 years. New car priorities: o fun to drive - excellent handling, ...

Epinions 8,000 reasons to buy an Infinity M35X

by  mypinionxxx,  Mar 12, 2007
Pros: Great "curb appeal". Top rated, feature rich, sports luxury sedan at a fair price.
Cons: Takes time to become familiar with all the features.
Review: When comparing features of the 2006 Infinity M35X to BMW and Mercedes similarly equipped models, the M35X was approx $8,000.00 less and had more features bundled in. After 14 months of use, I have had zero issues other than your normal maintenance. ...

Epinions Goodbye to the JDM luxo-barge

by  mkaresh, top reviewer in Cars & Motorsports ,  Apr 30, 2005
Pros: Power, taut chassis, comfortable seats, relatively low price
Cons: Unnatural steering, harsh ride, loud tires, rear seat doesn't fold
The Bottom Line: Almost there. Sport model's ride too harsh and noisy for most. And such a taut suspension screams for better steering. But, in Luxury form, an excellent value with few shortcomings.
Review: A few years ago I reviewed the then-new 2003 Infiniti M45. The car's primary selling point was that its low-40s price included a 340-horsepoewr V8. The competition offered less power at a higher price. However, competitors also offered more ...

Epinions My new car search: Infiniti M35 Sport

by  davlav,  Dec 16, 2005
Pros: Smooth engine, nice interior, good handling, good use of technology
Cons: Non-intuitive controls, no connection for MP3 player, rear impact safety
The Bottom Line: A well-rounded car that might convince me to move up to the mid-sized luxury class.
Review: My Search: Before I get to the actual review, I just want to give some context as to what kind of car I am looking for in terms of needs and preferences. This was you'll have a better basis for how my opinion may or may not fit with your own. ...

Epinions Review of Infiniti M35x

by  svguy,  Mar 22, 2006
Pros: Great AWD handling, 250hp V6, good transmission, tasteful styling, safe and reliable, smooth ride
Cons: Limited choice of exterior colors, back seat does not fold down, driver's side blind spot
The Bottom Line: If you want a luxury sedan with AWD a great ride and excellent handling and all the goodies - check out the M35x.
Review: First off let me tell you a little about myself and what I was looking for in a new car. I am 59 and commute 50 miles a day on mostly freeways in the SF Bay Area. I am very aware of and interested in cars and enjoy the drive experience. And last but ...

Epinions M35 a Competent Car for a Fair Price

by  wtsang,  May 20, 2005
Pros: Good car for its price. Does everything moderately well. No glaring faults.
Cons: No real innovation. Not very exciting to look at or drive.
The Bottom Line: For the price I think the M35 is a solid performer inside and out. It delivers competent levels of power, refinement, and comfort. And it has no significant faults.
Review: I didn't drive the M35 for very long but I did spend about 10 minutes driving and probably another 15 min also riding in its back seat. Interior As a rear seat passenger the leg and elbow room was good, though if you added a third person in ...

Epinions M35X: Two Things Drive Me Nuts

by  jpuglis,  Feb 24, 2008
Pros: All-wheel drive, lots of power, navigation & sound systems, handling.
Cons: Steering much too precise, no overdrive so poor gas mileage
The Bottom Line: Great car for the money with a couple of really dumb irritants.
Review: Overall, I really like the car. I was very disappointed with the two items that I listed as "cons," but other features compensate somewhat. For example, in spite of the irritatingly precise steering, the car handles wonderfully. It handles curves ...

Epinions Infinity M35x: Close, but no cigar

by  tdgvrr,  Nov 9, 2006
Pros: AWD, all the right gadgets, overall performance, cost vs. Audi A6 or BMW 530xi
Cons: Usability/software, fuel mileage, transmission
The Bottom Line: A nice car with a strong personality...make sure it fits with yours!
Review: Now that I've owned my M35X for several months and am approaching 10,000 miles, I can offer a more balanced review... I did a lot of research before purchasing my M35. I have a fair-weather sports car, but I wanted an AWD daily driver that would be ...

Epinions In A Word- Underwhelming. Surprisingly. Ok, So That's Two Words.

by  MagnumForce,  Apr 29, 2006
Pros: AWD, great suspension, brakes, looks stunning inside
Cons: Engine, transmission, interior center stack, lacks visual impact of it's smaller brother (G35)
The Bottom Line: Needs the bigger engine. But Infiniti doesn't offer AWD with the M45, so you're screwed if that's the combo you want. Life goes on.
Review: I've always had a soft spot for Infiniti. I drove a J30t for a lot of years. Loved the look, LOVED the interior. It was basically a four door 300ZX. Sure it had no backseat room or trunk, but it screamed style. And it wasn't too bad of a performer. ...
