This makes it possible to print to the same printer from a LAN and a Host at the same time. i-data LinkCom ISP PrintServer connects a Lexmark Optra S, SC or K printer to a LAN providing efficient sharing of a printer between multiple systems, protocols and data streams. The LinkCom ISP allows easy migration of IBM Host print jobs directly to the LAN via SNA or TCP/IP. Since LinkCom ISP is functionally compatible with most known IBM coax and twinax printers, no changes to existing applications or additional network software is required. LinkCom ISP is built on a flexible platform which can be upgraded in multiple steps from an entry product to a highly advanced product supporting both advanced SCS and AFP/IPDS printing.
