Equinox MEGAPLEX Multiplexer (990167-2)

Equinox systems introduces its Megaplex-96 multiprocessor. It is designed for large "pc-mainframe" systems. Each host controller links to 1 to 4 cluster multiplexers to support up to 96 ports from a single host. It extends radius of connectivity to 2,500 feet using 2 crimp. ??Megaplex-96 also features 38.4 kbps speed on all 96-ports simultaneously. Host controller fits expansion slot of at or eisa system. Megaplex/2 host controller fits expansion slot of PS/2, NCR 3000 and other micro channel systems. Megaplex/rs host controller fits expansion slot of RS/6000 systems. Installation software permits simple "goof-proof" set-up. The starter kit includes software drivers for all popular versions of Unix, Xenix and Aix. Multiplexer power supply is also included.
