The DECserver 732 is a high-density, high-performance asynchronous device and remote access server that provides 32 MJ8 (RJ45) serial ports. The DECserver 732's serial ports support either of two sets of software-selectable four-signal modem control signals. The DECserver 732 has AUI and 10BaseT Ethernet connectors. The DECserver 700-16 supports up to eight sessions per port and speeds up to 115.2 Kb/s per port. The DECserver 732 has an external FLASH socket for the customer-installable flashcard. When installed, the flashcard allows self-booting operation. The DECserver 732 runs DECserver Network Access Software (DNAS), which delivers multi-protocol support for TCP/IP, IPX, and AppleTalk networks. DECserver 700 units are designed for tabletop or rackmount configuration. Minimize
